I was delighted to be announced as winning 1st place in the Shot Up North awards for 2023.

Entries were judged by Channel 4’s image commissioning team and announced in Manchester in December.

The image selected is of Sharon MacArthur, also known as ‘Miss Menopause’ who I photographed for my online editorial platform Pattern. Sharon is a menopause educator who works with organisations to raise awareness around menopause with employees.
